At the heart of Farm Fresh Oils is our extensive global network of essential-oil and carrier-oil farms, spanning more than 30 countries. These long-standing partnerships give us access to premium-grade oils with exceptional traceability, freshness, and price stability… but building and maintaining a network of this size takes time, trust, and patience.

For founders James and Quinnie, sourcing has never been about buying from a catalogue. Their journey has taken them from the Australian outback to the remote jungles of Indonesia and Peru, and on to some of the world’s most established agricultural regions, including France and Bulgaria. Each destination offers its own challenges, traditions, and techniques ― and each visit deepens their understanding of how truly great oils are made.

At every farm, James and Quinnie take the same hands-on approach: walking the fields, inspecting crops, observing distillation methods, and speaking directly with growers and distillers. This first-hand involvement allows them to understand not only what is being produced, but how and why. It’s this insight that ensures every oil meets Farm Fresh Oils’ exacting standards for purity, sustainability, and performance.

When in-person visits are not possible, farms are rigorously vetted through detailed investigations. These reviews cover plantation management, harvesting practices, and distillation or extraction processes, ensuring the same level of scrutiny is applied regardless of geography. Nothing is approved without confidence in both the product and the people behind it.
